Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase from the Otherist ... but in the rare case you are not, we are here to help.
Returns will be accepted within 14 days of receipt.
All returns must be approved in advance, please contact the Otherist for a return authorization. Any return not approved beforehand is subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable and the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Return of items shipped by the Otherist to the customer free of charge are subject to a re-stocking fee equal to the amount of the initial shipping cost the Otherist incurred to supply the item to the customer.
Returns from outside the EU may incur Customs duties upon re-import to the European Union. Should Netherlands Customs decide to levy any fees, these fees will be deducted from the final refund amount.
Items must be returned in the original and unused condition, in the original packaging where applicable. Items are your responsibility until it is received by us, so please ensure the item is well packed (additional packaging may be necessary) and sent via an insured and trackable shipping method. A return may be refused if the item is received in poor or used condition.
Claims on defective items must be made within 48 hours of receipt.
For items damaged in transit, please do not return the item unless requested to do so. Please photograph any external damage to the parcel so that we can provide evidence of damage to our delivery partner.
All special orders, made to order items, and sale items are non-refundable.
